Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.18.10.26 tests froglight blocks, frog sounds, and more

We've officially entered a new year, which means we're inching always closer to The Wild Update, the next major content update for Minecraft arriving at some point in 2022. Mojang Studios is returning from its Vacation break with a brand-new beta for players to exam, which even includes some experimental features from the aforementioned upcoming update. Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Beta 1.eighteen.ten.26 is at present available, and includes new froglight blocks, sounds for frogs and tadpoles, and much more.

While this beta is yet technically a part of the Caves and Cliffs Update, and does test enough of bug fixes and improvements for the current Minecraft version, it also tests The Wild Update content through the experimental features toggle. Frogs and tadpoles were introduced in an earlier beta, but now feature full sounds. This beta also introduces brand-new froglight blocks, which are glowing cubes created when a frog consumes a modest magma cube.

Characteristic placement

• Large Dripstone characteristic does not generate floating on summit of lava anymore
• Pointed Dripstone clusters no longer have a chance of spawning just stalagmites of height one

Furnaces

• Boom Furnaces and Smokers once once more give XP

Gameplay

• Pointed Dripstone at present sometimes generate on large stalactites and stalagmites
• Lava pools now but generate in positive Y coordinates
  • Lava pools that generate close to Y=0 will have Deepslate and Stone blocks casing
• Coral now generates in the deeper depths of Warm Oceans
• The Grove biome now has more variety of trees
• Fixed Low-cal Block's brightness not beingness adjustable when playing in VR
• Fixed Lite Block non existence continuously placed while belongings right-click and moving
• Light Blocks can now be waterlogged
